How to get to Telc

Telč is a town in southern Moravia, near to city Jihlava. Telc is in the Czech Republic. The town was founded in the 13th century as a royal water fort on the crossroads of busy merchant routes between Bohemia, Moravia and Austria.

There are three ways how you can get to Telc:

  • shuttle bus
  • bus
  • train

1. shuttle to Telc

Shuttle bus is fast and comfortable way of transportation between cities and it is provided by private companies such as Czechshuttle.

Advantages: fast, comfortable, pick up in front of your hotel and drop wherever you want, transform to sightseeing trip, group discounts
Disadvantages: higher price

2. bus to Telc

Bus everyone-know way of transportation and everyone knows how it looks like to travell by bus. Bus station is located 1,5 km far from city center.

Advantages: lower price
Disadvantages: slow, need to get to station with all backpacks

3. train to Telč

Another tradicional public transportation option is train. Train station in Telc is next to bus station.

Advantages: comfortable
Disadvantages: extremely slow, need to get to station with all backpacks
