How to get from Prague to Salzburg

There are three ways how to get from Prague to Salzburg:

  • by car with shuttle bus
  • by train
  • by bus

The best way how to get from Prague to Salzburg is use shuttle bus transfer. Trip will take about 4,5 hours. Shared shuttle bus transfer from Prague to Salzburg cost 2 050 CZK for person, in larger group you can get a interesting discount. For example if you are part of group of eight people, price will be only 1600 CZK per person.

With shuttle bus you can take advantage of door to door transport. That means that you will be picked up where were you want, for example in front of your hotel or place where are stand, and drop off will be again wherever you want.

Another great plus of using shuttle bus is that you can change your trip to scenic trip. So you will not miss a single place what you want to visit.

Prague to Salzburg by train

From Prague to Salzburg you can use train. Trip will take around 6,5 hours and you will need to change train in Linz .

Between Prague and Salzburg is one bus line which goes through the night and take 6 hours.

If you do not waste time or you are part of large group use shuttle bus transport. It is a bit expensive but you will do not need to spend extra hours in slow public transportation. Also big advantage is turn your ride to scenic way(for example Linz is on the route). If you want to use public transportation we recommend bus.
